Welcome Jorge!

We are excited to welcome Dr. Jorge Cabrera-Moreno as a new Postdoc working on the ERC Project “ENGINE”.

Jorge has a background in Neuroscience and did his Master degree at the Spanish National Research Council and his PhD at the German Primate Center. During his PhD he worked on developing novel tools to improve the characterisation of hearing in common marmosets for chochlear impant testing.

He is interested in the dynamic interactions between individuals and especially those who occur through the acoustic channel — which is a main reason he is exited to join our group!

Outside of work he likes to do long distance hikes, coding, reading or spending time with his dog Mau as well as more recently is embarking on learning to paraglide!
